The weather outside right now is the kind of weather where

people fall in love with one another and think their love will last forever.

It’s an hour after it has rained and mere moments before it is about to rain again and there is a crispness in the air as the sun’s rays fight to cut through a sea of clouds.

"Yeah, I’m here on this street and it’s absolutely amazing. I know this sounds weird but it’s like my body is here, but my soul belongs here. This is exactly what I’ve been looking for all my life and I can’t believe I’ve just now found it. I belong here."

- Overheard a woman on her cellphone while I was walking down Haight St. in San Francisco. I love San Francisco.
Leaf Yellow Some days, I wake up, and all I really want to do is go on an adventure with Jacques Cousteau. Or even sit in a tree house with a cup of hot chocolate and read about his diving for sunken treasure.
My life needs more adventures, and someone to adventure with.

Leaf Yellow Oh man yesterday was filled with all sorts of awesome. But here was one great moment. Walking down Market at around midnight and meeting Bob Saget! Here’s a picture I took of Tyler and Andy with him. Haha

Leaf Yellow Yesterday, I got to see Andy and my buddies in Mae. Spending time with them oddly feels like “home” and it’s always good to catch up, especially cross country while they are on tour. As per usual I’m proud of all of Andy’s hard work, and it is always nice to see my videos projected when they play.
Also, my Nikkor 35mm prime came yesterday. Huzzah!

Both Seb and I have been so busy shooting stuff lately that communication has been sparse. But I always think about my moonie.

In honor of seeing Where The Wild Things Are, tonight. I can’t wait!

Today is going to be a good day. I’m finishing up work and and doing a midterm. I have a midterm 16mm shoot today in class, going to stop and see Andy and my friends Mae play in San Francisco, then go home to see Where The Wild Thing Are. Life is as busy as ever, but today is punctuated in whimsy and non-film-related endeavors.

What a wonderful time to alive, when the air smells like fresh rain, and the sun’s rays peek through a swarm of cotton candy clouds.

Re: Some Chauncy Video Stuffs.

I appreciate everyone defending me, and saying nice things even to those people who left a bunch of chincy comments in the vein of, “Who is this girl, and who gives a fuck?” It doesn’t really bother me though. That’s the best part about creating, it’s so subjective. If everyone liked it, it could potentially be very boring (not necessarily). Bottom line is, all my Memory Bank videos are made for me and my friends (that play a direct or indirect part in them). Since I started taking a certain kind of medication in the last year and a half, I’ve been losing my short term memory. So I figured, an easy way for me to cling onto memories I’m losing is to record them. So I’m not making them to impress people, and they aren’t supposed to be of any high production value. They are just like little tidbits of life I want to remember. My life isn’t that interesting, but it’s meaningful to me.

Not everyone is going to like what you create, and that’s not necessarily a bad thing.
