Last night’s moon.
I shot this last night when I was on the roof with Dylan. Handheld. How is there that much detail? It was so dark outside and this was zoomed in all the way. This camera is incredible. My life has now become incredible because of it.

First video shot with my D90 - Strupload
<3 June 30, 2009 my brand new D90 arrived at work. I had to buy it for my friends’ wedding shoot I have to do in August. My dearly departed d50 couldn’t cut it. This video was taken immediately after I took the camera out of the box. No post production color correction, just strupload.
Lot of out of focus as I learn about all the funny little buttons. I can’t wait to play with my camera after work!
This feels like a big step up from my poor broken d50 (RIP).
My vimeo friend Dylan is visiting from Ohio! I took him out to lunch. He’s awesome. <3

RIP 2-yr.-broken D50. I’ve had you since Fall of 2005 and you’ve served me well. I still love you and will continue to use you…sometimes.

It’s time once again for another Twitter Photo Assignment! If you are unfamiliar with this, check out Twitter Photo Assignment #8/everyone’s photos.
How it works:
* Take a photograph that pertains to the assignment theme. (This assignment’s theme is: Love) Remember it can be love for a significant other, platonic love, love for an activity, object, etc. Be creative and have fun with it.
* Upload your photo to Twitpic (that will make a post on your Twitter).
* Make sure you @karenabad your photo or else I won’t see it.
* At the end of the day (Midnight, Wednesday, July 1, 2009) I will put all of them together shortly after.
Purpose:
To just have fun, take a spontaneous photograph and collaborate with others. Do it with your camera, cellphone, webcam, make a drawing, etc.
If you don’t want to twitpic it, you can email it to me [m.karenabad@gmail.com], but make sure you include your twitter name for credit!
