Twitter Photo Assignment #4 - Grass and Sky

Twitter Photo Assignment #4 - Grass and Sky

It’s time once again for another spontaneous Twitter Photo Assignment! If you are unfamiliar with this, check out Twitter Photo Assignment #3 / everyone’s photos.

How it works:

  • Take a photograph that pertains to the assignment theme. (This assignment’s theme is: GRASS and SKY)
  • Upload your photo to Twitpic (that will make a post on your Twitter).
  • Make sure you @karenabad your photo or else I won’t see it.
  • At the end of the day (11:30PM PST) I will put all of them together.

Purpose:

To just have fun, take a photograph and collaborate with others.

If you don’t want to twitpic it, you can email it to me, but make sure you include your twitter name for credit!

Happy Saturday Twitteraties!

Leaf Yellow The wonderful Krista gave me adorable dinosaur cookie cutters for my birthday (THANK YOU lovely!) Joe and I tried to make cookies…but FAILED. I’ll try again another time. I will make sure my future husband knows how to cook and bake because I surealy can’t do it well.

Leaf Yellow I bought myself a Special Edition Moleskine Polaroid Pogo for my birthday. I can hook it up directly to my dSLR or send files via bluetooth and it prints them out with inkless technology. Granted the quality is as if you printed a photo out of your printer, but it’s pretty awesome because: 1) the film is really cheap. You can score 60 sheets for about $20. 2) it’s adhesive, so the photos are like stickers. 3) the Pogo is portable, it fits in my pocket and is smaller than even the Moleskine.
It’s the same idea as the iZone, except I can print multiple copies of stuff. I started journaling in a brand new Moleskine entirely with photos. I love my Pogo!

Leaf Yellow Sunday, May 10, 2009.
On Sunday, I drove to Sacramento (roughly an hour east of where I live) to go hang out with my friends in Mae again. When I got to the venue at around 4ish, Andy realized that he had left the hard drive with the entire show’s projection in San Francisco, at the venue they played at the night before. Long story short, from around 5PM-10PM I drove Andy towards San Francisco, called about 20+ people that I knew who lived in SF to try to get the hard drive and meet somewhere before the Bay Bridge, finally got Erika to retrive it from the A-holes at the Bottom of the Hill, and haul ass driving 80 back to Sacramento in crappy holiday traffic. We ran in when the band had about 10 min left to set up.
Definitely interesting. It couldn’t have happened on a worse day…actually it could have. Crisis averted/show saved. Thanks to all the dozens of people I pestered on Mother’s Day. But mostly thanks to Erika who drove from Rodeo to SF to meet Andy and me in El Cerrito.
