Blake and I shot some stuff before our offline event in Berlin.
I really like Berlin. Watching incredible videos in a pool is so surreal, and quite beautiful when it is reflected off the bottom of the pool.

“Last night’s screening and party was fantastic. First off, the venue was incredible as you can see. We held the event in a 100 year old swimming pool tuned art gallery in the east Berlin. The event was co-sponsored by VIDEOKILLS, the first annual International Video Art Festival, and without those guys, none of this would have happened. Big thanks to those fine women.
We screened a variety of videos, including many from Berlin filmmakers and artists in attendance. There are a surprising amount of Vimeo folk here in Berlin. It’s amazing.
After the screening saw a VJ performance by Raquel Meyers with accompanying DJ while people mingled and danced. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would say it was huge success!
Thanks to everyone who made it out and hopefully we’ll see you all again soon. Also, stay tuned for Karen and my video blog of the event!
