When we were shooting 35mm this Saturday, we happened upon this ultra awesome textured wall. This makes me smile.
Lately, I’ve been heavily observing the sun and it’s rays. Mostly how the light interacts and dances with its surroundings. The fall-off and the shadows never cease to amaze me.
I always find myself pulling off to the side of the road to observe and take photographs.
This photograph was taken while I was lost, driving through Golden Gate Park since the Bay Bridge was closed due to cable snap or something.
This world is captivating.
My best friend, Jazzy, sent me a care package last week. It was amazing. i got this cute notebook, and this amazing dino pouch. But the best part of it was the CD with a cover song she recorded of herself performing one of my favourite Notwist songs.
It really meant a lot to me. I feel really terrible that I don’t ever get to see my best friends because they live between 5 and 30 minutes away from me. I miss Jazzy, Selina, Jenny, and Erika. I miss Candice and Brett too, who live not too far from where I am almost every day in the city. My life has been nonstop.
Proximity means nothing when I am in grad school and have 12-20 hour school/work days. If anything, I appreciate my best friends’ patience with me. I love you guys very much and I know you’re always checking in on my tumblr/twitter/etc even though you guys don’t really do the online thing that much.
Love you.
